When my mother read the paper of their marriage and when she saw the photo was LKY & Mrs Lee, Hsien Loong and Ming Yang she said, “Die ah, Lee Kuan Yew and his wife do not like Ming Yang!” I said, “Mother how do you know?” She replied, “You just look at the photo all of them so stiff and NO HAPPY FACE:(

My mother said, “Ming Yang is very gentle and fragile like a piece of jade just like Lum Toi York, (Lin Dai).” I asked her what did she meant by it and she told me Lin Dai committed suicide. Then she continued, “If Hsien Loong does not have time for her it will be very bad and if after marriage they have to live with the 2 old couples Ming Yang will let her in-law ‘hurt say’ (in Cantonese mean suffocated or can die faster because Lee Kuan Yew and his wife sign stars very powerful and Ming Yang will not be able to take it and finally she will leave this world:(

My mother is not a fortune teller but there is this kind of human being they got very good instinct just see newspaper she can tell the life story of Hsien Loong. Then I asked my mother when the Lee family together what o they talk about. She replied, “Of course talk money and country big business.”

I dare not offend my mother I always listen to her when she spoke on politics. I asked my mother why Lee Kuan Yew and his wife did not like Ming Yang and she said that because she is a Malaysian. From what I had learned from my source who had brought my ASEAN House proposal to him because I am a Singaporean he is not interested even though I am a Muslim:( Wah cannot Tahun these 2 old men they should join hand and lift ASEAN instead with their small minds bring us to……:(

Dearest PM Lee,

You are a Leader not only with a smart brain but a caring heart too. You spoke from your soul and had brought me to tears. Singapore is very blessed to have a leader like you and on behalf of our people, I must thank your parent of doing such a good job in raising you to serve the people. I said to many people that there are still so many things we could learn from MM especially his good marriage… besides good governance.

Most importantly as you rise with the people hearts closed to yours you must not forget to bring MM closer to the people because my mother said Lee Kuan Yew will live over till 100 years old so we must always get the people connected to him.

The small project of MM website is one way for us not to forget what a great man he has been. I want him to feel the people warmth for him and that we treasure him.

Love, light peace and harmony
Sunflower

Dear PM Lee,

I hope you are in good health. We have created a website to honor MM http://happybirthdaymmleekuanyew.com/guestbookview.php

We would like to invite you and your family to pen a note for MM Lee.

Thank you for your support. I hope you can rally your friends to give us the support too.

Love, light, peace and harmony
Sunflower

NB: The first thing people asked was whether I got the permission from MM Lee office. I called up Mr Lim Boon
Heng office and the secretary picked up the phone. I told her as a people and nation it is time to give our honor to MM and how should I go about achieving this small dream. She directed me to my MP because it is the people affairs.

My MP Prof Low Seow Chye was very attentive and was delighted when he heard of my intention for MM and he said that it is time for us to honor him. Everything was approved by him, the name of the website and the design too.

This is a Teck Whye project. The website designer is Xiong from Teck Whye and the two domain names paid by the electrician and the medical hall aunty. I did not come out with any money but just coordinate and emailing all the schools and everyone that I can think of and invite them to sign in.

A Website that we did for MM Lee

http://www.worldharmonyday.com/poem_mmlee_tribute.php

For he who dedicated his life to Singapore, we dedicate this site to celebrate his birthday on 16 September 2005. We welcome all visitors to leave a birthday note to MM Lee on our site guestbook.

I am one bright child who can see MM Lee’s vision when I was in my teens and made sure others see it too and this has become my mission and my lifetime work. The website www.worldharmonyday.com is his legacy that our collective consciousness can save the world.

To show my love and respect for MM Lee I have created a website for his 83 birthday and this was one tribute by Mr. William Tan that spoke highly of MM Lee.

Dear Minister Mentor Lee,

Having lived through those tumulous years under British rule, Malaysian rule I am glad there was such a man as you to keep us Singaporeans heads high.Singapore would not be what it is today if not for your wisdom,

Singapore would not be what it is today if not for your wisdom, foresight and grit. Our children has benefited much from your good governance of fairplay, meritocracy and devoid of corruption and nepotism. As we look at our neighbours and countries afar, we have so much to be thankful for.Whenever I meet my foreign visitors, I am so proud to tell them of the Singapore story which really is your story. A story of one man who stood against overwhelming odds to create a small nation, without natural resources and did the impossible.

Whenever I meet my foreign visitors, I am so proud to tell them of the Singapore story which really is your story. A story of one man who stood against overwhelming odds to create a small nation, without natural resources and did the impossible.

I still remember that statement you made that ‘even after you are gone, you would rise from the grave, if someone did Singapore wrong.’ That speaks much of your passion for our country, Singapore.

I salute you, sir, and Wish You Many Happy Returns of the Day and God’s richest blessings upon you and your family.

Mr William Y.L. Tan, 64 (Singapore)

Your love for the country is endless
Your wisdom clear and far
With each careful step
You have made Singapore a star

You are our birthday
You are our inspiration
With smiles of the sun
We appreciate what you have done

Mr Edward Houng, 42 (Singapore)

A man of courage
A sage for all
A time to remember
He who stands tall

Man above man
A love for the country
A name forever
A joy to remember

Every nation has a story to praise.
A small nation has no place for praise and scores no ace.
We had haze days and we were dazed.

On the eve of 9th August 1965, there was pain.
The bonfire flamed away here you came.
You shed tears in the cold wind but spoke with flame.

Here come the plane flies us to the furthest lands.
Here come the wind sails us to the furthest shores.
Here we come, here we win and we set distinctive scores.

Today we have many aces.
We will carry “Olympian flame” but we stay.
“Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!” that’s the voice I heard and remembered what you said.

A godfather cares.
A stepfather helps.
A father loves.
But, a “Father of all fathers of the small nation, Singapore”, he ……. fights, stays, cares, helps and, most of all, he loves.

Once again, I said, “We are small and yet you stay!”
A small nation that once walked lame is now embraced with grace.
Your love for the small nation is worthy of praise.

Mr Ng Chee Keong, 51 (Singapore)

Dear Sir,

The seeds that you sow has reaped into many wonderful fruits for all Singaporeans, Would like to say thank you very much for all the hard work you have done for us all. And as a token of appreciation, I would like to dedicate this little poem for you. Happy Birthday and all the best Sir.

History horns,
A Nation is born,
Forefathers came forward,
And made a drive onward,
Begin on this land,
We cuddled on our Mother’s hands,
Individuals as a grain of sand,
Together we form a family on this land,
One crescent moon, five stars, red and white,
Slowly climbing to its height,
Different races living together,
Sharing each and others unique culture,
Great gourmet we possess,
Something, not every Nation has,
Garden city we declared,
Wonderful flowers and trees we have,
Urbanized landscapes we adapt,
Till this day we harbored no regrets,
With the economy flourishing,
Shareholders are coming in,
This piece of land is safe and sound,
With law enforcers all around,
Strong Armies were created,
So as to defend the sovereignty we wanted,
Living under The Lion’s paws,
This is a place called Singapore,
MajulahSingapura!

Mr Tong HsienMeng, Desmond, 19 (Singapore)
Dearest MM Lee,

PM Lee HsienLoong is not only a leader with a smart brain but has a caring heart too. He spoke from his soul and had brought me to tears. Singapore is very blessed to have a leader like him and on behalf of our people, I must thank MM Lee and Mrs Lee on doing such a good job in raising HsienLoong to serve the people of Singapore and beyond. His immediate action for the tsunami has made us so proud as Singaporean.

There are still so many things we could learn from MM especially your good marriage… besides good governance.

If Singapore is truly a unique nation it is because we got a unique leader name
, Lee Kuan Yew.

Happy Birthday MM Lee and many more to come.

Love, light, peace and harmony and unity,
Ms Sunflower Chong, 50 (Singapore)
